Ever have one of those nights where you can’t sleep? You can always look at these fun famous fictional characters for inspiration on getting to sleep. Hopefully by the end of this article you will be able to fall asleep while online trying to rest on your mattress. Let begin our count down.
10. Prince Valium (Spaceballs)
Prince Valium may be best remembered as the very last prince in the galaxy. Princess Vaspa has no choice in the matter but gets cold feet and runs away. When she comes back Prince Valium is one of the first people to welcome her back. Once take two of their wedding is happening she decides she would rather marry Lone Star instead. She pushes Prince Valium away and the rest is history. A side bit of trivia. Prince Valium got his name from a prescription sleep aid, which is why he can’t seem to stay awake.
9. The Dormouse (Alice In Wonderland)
He may not be the most important character in the book, but he was always being used as a cushion while he slept. He would say, “I breathe when I sleep” is the same thing as “I sleep when I breathe”!’ In the Disney adaption he is seen as sleepy and lazy singing songs.
8. Bedtime Bear (Care Bears)
Bedtime Bear is one of the original 10 care bears that have survived every incarnation of the care bear franchise. His special abilities give him the extraordinary ability to enter and exit dreamland and influence your dreams directly. Meaning nightmare can’t win. He can also you overcome your fears of the dark, curing insomnia, or just be there to cuddle up to.
7. Dagwood Bumstead (Blondie)
Besides Dagwood always trying to get to work on time or eating huge sandwiches… well, any food for that matter, his love for his wife and family is refreshing. But when it comes to taking naps and sleeping, he takes center stage. Always finding a way to get in some extra sleep on the couch or chair, or getting up in the middle of the night for a midnight snack.
6. Remus Lupin (Harry Potter)
While not the most notable sleepy person on the list, Remus Lupin was always sleepy from his transformations as a werewolf. He also took the Wolfsbane Potion so that when he did transform, it would cause the werewolf part of him to become an ordinary and sleepy wolf.
5. Beetle Bailey (Comic Strip)
With Beetle Bailey you always know where you stand. Beetle is considered lazy and will take naps or finding places to sleep. He is also always trying to find ways to avoid doing his work, which gets him into a lot of heat from Sergeant Snorkel.
This fur ball full of obsessive eating, distain for diets, fear of spiders, loathing Mondays, and sleeping make for a pretty awesome cat. Garfield is has been known to stay asleep only getting up for lasagna. Remember not to disturb him while turning in for the night.

This classic children’s folk tale is one that captures everyone who reads it. The story has changed in many different adaptions since being written in the early 1800’s. It also teaches us a lesson about being idle and to make the most out of what we are given.
2. Sleepy (Snow White)
This loveable character is the actually the very first dwarf to be seen in the Disney animated movie. His laziness stems from always being weary and droopy-eyed because he is always tired. Sleepy is also the one who is always being pestered by a fly.
1. Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
The number one spot is only fitting as sleeping is in the main title. Also the one most would think of when it comes to sleep. Sleeping Beauty has been an icon turning up in Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, live actions movies, Disneyland making her castle to come to life.
