When people think of attractions in California, the first thought typically is Disneyland. But you don’t want to overlook this top attraction and neither would the Orange County home builders: The Flightdeck Flight Simulation Center. Located at 1650 S. Sinclair St. in Anaheim, this attraction has time after time been voted one of the top things to do in Orange County.
Let’s just say, this place rocks!
Whether you’ve ever wanted to be a pilot or not, sitting in a cockpit simulator and flying a cyber Boeing 737 is quite the experience. You can participate in the thrill of 500 knot aerial maneuvers, air to air combat, and landings and take offs of an aircraft.
You and your family (up to ten individuals) can all fly in your own real F-16 simulator at the same time. How sweet it that? You can fly simulated air combats for 45 minutes and/or try flying a Boeing 737 for 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
In the Officers Club observatory, guests can watch and listen to all the action of big flat screen monitors. Here they can basically see everything that the pilot sees during the flight and listen to the interactions between the air traffic control crew and the pilots.
